Uniform Exchange
The Aims of Scouting are:
Character, Citizenship, Personal Fitness, and Leadership
We achieve these aims through various methods including uniform. Cub Scout uniforms serve a dual purpose, demonstrating that a Scout is part of a team and showing individual achievement (Scouts wear the badges they’ve earned). Wearing the uniform to meetings and activities also encourages a neat appearance, and good behavior.
Obtaining an official Cub Scout uniform can be expensive when starting your Cub Scout journey. Pack 256 has established a uniform exchange to allow families to repurpose their existing uniforms and facilitate a market for families to obtain a gently-used uniform well below current retail prices.
Here's how it works. An inventory of currently available items is shown on this page. The suggested price is just that, a suggestion, that helps offset costs the Pack incurs to obtain, update, and refurbish items in the exchange. Any contribution is accepted and appreciated to help make uniforms more accessible to our members. If you are interested in obtaining any of the items shown, or wish to additional donate items to the exchange, email info@pack256.org.
